{b}Funkishytte med panorama fjordutsikt{/b}

Den nye funkishytten i massvitre ligger på solsiden av Hardangerfjorden, og har den mest fantastiske panoramautsikt over landskapet og fjorden. Hytten er 40 m2 og har 1 soverom, 1 sovehems med 3-4 madrasser, og dobbel sovesofa i stuen.&nbsp;
Dobbeltseng 160 x 200 i soverommet, 80x200 madrasser på hems, alle med god sovekomfort. Kjøkken og stue i et.&nbsp;
Kjøkkenet har oppvaskmaskin, kjøleskap, komfyr, 2 stekeplater og spiseplass med fjordutsikt.&nbsp;
Sofaen er en romslig og god Bolia sovesofa. Hytten har en altan slik at man kan nyte frokosten ute og høre på fuglekvitter. Soverommet og sovehemsen har også panorama fjordutsikt.&nbsp;
Badet har dusj, toalett og vaskemaskin. Man kan kjøre helt til døren og parkeringsplassen utenfor har plass til 2 biler. Sol hele dagen og kveldsol. NB! 100% røykfritt siden det er allergi i familien.&nbsp;

Hardanger Fjordtun har to hytter og et hus, på Mælen utenfor Herand.&nbsp;
Det idylliske stedet ligger på solsiden av Hardangerfjorden, i enden av en 3 kilometer sidevei.&nbsp;
Her har man sol til sent på kvelden. Faktisk er det oftere sol her enn andre steder. Beviset ligger i den varmekjære gamle skogen som finnes her. Lyset over fjorden gir ellers stedet en magisk utsikt uansett hvilket vær man får. Her passer det å bo om man vil nyte stillheten, ligge og se på skyene hele dagen, bade eller fiske. Man kan også være aktiv og ta turen til sommerskisenteret på Folgefonna eller turen til Trolltunga som har startpunkt ca. 1 time unna. Det finnes uendelig mange turmuligheter i nærheten, så ta med tursko.&nbsp;
En sti leder ned til flotte svaberg og rullesteinstrand, ca. 5 minutter å gå. Her er det også en kai å fiske fra, og kanskje en ledig robåt.&nbsp;

The most amazing place to stay, and Sverre was such a great host. I will recommend everyone to book a stay in the beautiful “funkis hytta”!!!

Skønneste overnatning i de mest fortryllende omgivelser! Vi havde den bedste aften med bålhygge, solnedgang og udsigt over fjorden.

{b}Tretopphytte for romantikk og naturopplevelser{/b}

Denne tretopphytte står trygt på stålstativ, på toppen av et platå, med «nesen» inn i alme- og askeskogen. Hytten er ca.15 m2 og inneholder en kjøkkendel og et oppholdsrom med en seng på 150 x 200 cm som gir god sovekomfort. Skuffer under sengen til oppbevaring. Kjøkkenet har to kokeplater, kjøleskap og vannkoker, og ellers alt som behøves for å lage og spise maten. Det finnes også et klaffebord og to sammenleggbare stoler. Trehytten har også et toalett med vaskeservant. En håndholdt dusj gjør det mulig å dusje på det 1,5 m2 store «badet».&nbsp;
Trehytten er perfekt for deg som vil slappe av i tretoppene, kanskje slå av mobilen og høre på fuglekvitter og bølgeskvulp fra loungestolene på balkongen. Her hersker den totale stillheten, om kvelden kun avbrutt av kattuglene. Flott nærkontakt med fugler og ekorn, og i vinterhalvåret får man også fjordutsikt. Den forsvinner litt med løvet på trærne om sommeren, men da øker også tretopp-følelsen. Parkering 25 meter unna hytten.&nbsp;

Jeg og kjæresten min hadde en kjempefin tur i tretopphytten. Hytten var ren og pen. Balkongen var spesielt hyggelig!

Amazing place! Loved the terrace to listen to the birds singing and even saw a squirrel three times! 
Sverre was very kind and helpful. Would come back an anytime for a quiet retreat - this is the place to recharge for sure!

{b}Spend the night in a hanging tent above the fjord{/b}

The hike to your accommodation is a beautiful little path that takes you around 1h and opens up to spectacular glacier views. Once you reach camp, your guide will show you around the area. You then have time to enjoy this beautiful piece of Norwegian nature and take a wander around.

A typical Norwegian outdoor dinner is prepared at camp and served in our shelter with wooden benches and table or by the bonfire – depending on the weather conditions. You spend the evening with stories and amazing views before you climb down into your tent hanging on the cliff side 400m above Sørfjorden overlooking Folgefonna Glacier. You can either choose to climb down the rope ladder or abseil into your portaledge tent, your guide will assist and secure you. 

During the night you lie comfortably snuggled up in your warm sleeping bag. For safety reasons you keep your climbing harness on throughout the night, they are very thin though so you hardly feel them. We provide you with a radio that you can use to call your guide with in case you need to get out of the tent throughout the night. If the weather allows it, you can choose to leave the tent uncovered in order to gaze at the endless sky above you while falling asleep with the soundscape of the majestic mountains around you.

After your night out in the wilderness, your guide prepares a nice breakfast for you before you hike back down into civilization.

The so-called portaledge tents were developed by professional climbers for multi-day climbs.
Since you are accompanied by an experienced guide, you don’t need prior climbing experience – just a good sense of adventure!

Instead of hiking up to the cliff camp, we also offer the option to climb Tyssedal Via Ferrata which starts by the fjord with a visit of the Norwegian Museum of Hydropower and Industry. The via ferrata leads you up the mountain along the massive penstocks that were built over 100 years ago - a great way to learn about the local history and get a real feeling for the height while climbing up.

- This activity is weather dependent. We reserve the right to cancel the tour on short notice should the weather pose danger (very strong winds, heavy rain, ice or rockfall risk).
- Not suitable for children under 8 years or people with extreme fear of heights.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- If you would like to bring your pet, please be aware that it will not be able to sleep in the tent.
- Please note that we need to limit the consumption of alcohol due to safety reasons. We therefore ask you to not bring any hard liquor on the tour. If in doubt, your guide will have the last word and might not allow you to access the portaledge tent or get close to the cliff side and can decide to walk you back down to the parking and therewith end the tour. We hold the responsibility for your personal safety and therefore ask for your understanding, especially since Norwegian laws are very strict on alcohol consumption.
- You access your tent for the night via a rope ladder. You are secured and assisted by a professional guide at all times. Nevertheless, this activity requires a good level of fitness, and you should not be extremely afraid of heights. If you decide that you would rather spend your night more grounded, you can sleep on the benches in the shelter above.
- For safety reasons there is a weight limit of 100kg per person (total 200kg) for sleeping in the portaledges. 
- Min. number of participants: 2, max. 4.

Estangard

We had an awesome experience that we are unlikely to ever forget. We took the tyssedal via ferrata to get to camp, where we were greeted by our guide Richard. He was a really chill, and knowledgeable guide, and really fun to chat with. After a tour of the historical hydro facility we got the first taste of our portaledge, where we had the best view you can possibly imagine. It's quite a surreal image which is hard to explain with words, and photos don't do the real thing justice. Richard cooked us a very lovely dinner, and we chatted for a while before having a short hike around. Then we went back to the portaledge and enjoyed the view for the remainder of our night.

10/10 would definitely recommend !

Ever heard of Cliff Camping? Where people sleep in a hanging tent suspended on a cliff high up in the air? Maybe too extreme for you? 

As our new unique place to stay, we have created a Cliff Camping light version for all those, who would like to get that little thrill and excitement of sleeping up in the air without being afraid all night. 

Suspended just about 2m above the ground on a sunny balcony above the fjord, you get to sleep in a very comfortable and unqie type of hammock that is attached to the rock. 
The so-called portaledge tents were initially invented by professional climbers to be used on multi-day big wall climbs. We want to make this experience accessible for everyone who would like to get a taste of this extreme type of camping. 

The small campground in Fresvik, just 20 minutes from the starting point of Trolltunga and the city centre of Odda, offers incredible views over the Hardangerfjord and Folgefonna Glacier on the other side. A small path leads down to the fjord where you can chill in the sunshine, take a swim in the refreshing water, or try your luck at fishing. 
The campground possesses a small container building with sinks, toilets, showers, a washing machine, and a water boiler. Next to your camp you can find a seating area where you can also make a bonfire if it's not too dry, please check the Norwegian weather forecast on yr.no to see if there's a fire ban. If in doubt, just reach out to us. 

You are welcome to bring all camping equipment (sleeping bags etc.) yourself or you can rent what ever you need on the check-out page. 

Cliff Camp by the fjord

 {b}Spend the night in a tree tent above the fjord!{/b}
Imagine, you’re lying in a beautiful triangular tent, 2m above the ground and you gaze up to the tree tops that shelter you from above. You snuggle up into your comfy sleeping bag and listen to the sounds of nature that surround you.

Come and experience the tent version of a tree house and enjoy the night suspended in a hanging tent out in the woods, overlooking the majestic Sørfjorden. 

The hike to your accommodation is a beautiful little path that takes you around 1h and opens up to spectacular glacier views.
You meet your host on "Lilletopp", the upper building complex of the historic hydro power station of Tyssedal. 

From here you walk together for another 15 minutes until you reach your camp. Your host shows you around the area and gives you a little introduction into your tree tenting experience. You then have all the time to enjoy this beautiful piece of Norwegian nature, take a wander around, and prepare your own outdoor dinner. 

After a relaxing evening and night out in the wilderness, you can prepare a nice breakfast before you pack up and hike back into civilization. 

As experienced outdoor guides and passionate campers, we can whole heartedly say that the tree tent is the most comfortable tent we've ever slept in! It's a lot softer than a relugar tent and tighter than a hammock - the perfect mix. 
You are free to bring all equipment yourself or you can rent what ever you need directly from us.

- All equipment needed for your overnight stay needs to be carried up a small trail through rugged terrain (approx. 2km, 200m elevation gain)
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 
- Parents have the full responsibility for their children.
- If you would like to bring your pet, please be aware that it will not be able to sleep in the tent with you. Your pet can sleep sheltered from the rain underneath the hanging tent, but keep in mind that we are in Norway and it does get colder during the nights.
- Please note that we need to limit the consumption of alcohol due to safety reasons. We therefore ask you to not bring any hard liquor on the mountain. If in doubt, your host will have the last word and might not allow you to access the tree tent or get close to the cliff side and can decide to walk you back down to the parking and therewith end the tour. Norwegian laws are very strict on alcohol consumption.
- For safety reasons there is a weight limit of 120 kg per person (total 200 kg) for sleeping in the tree tent. If you exceed this limit but would still like to book this tour, we can provide you with an alternative on the ground – with the same stunning views.
- Please note that bonfires are prohibited in and around the camp.
