Bækkegård is a 200 plus years old classic Danish farm building, though the site of the farm goes back much further in time. The main farm building has a thatched roof with a beautiful old walnut tree next to it and there is a pond with wild ducks, moorhens and frogs next to the old orchard. As you approach the farm you cross a bridge over the winding stream that leads into the protected forest that surrounds the property.
