Glamping Rold Skov - Stargazer Vest

Spend the night in the middle of Rold Skov, and wake up with the sun and the birds.

Glamping in Rold Skov is located on the border between the North Jutland town of Skørping and one of Denmark's largest forests; Rold Skov. Enchantingly close to Troldeskoven.

The property is located on the Hærvejsruten which follows Stendalsvej near Skørping. Rold Skov, together with St. Økssø, Rebild Bakker and REGAN Vest, offers many activity opportunities in the nearby nature.

Here you will sleep: 
The tent is located by itself surrounded by trees. The tent contains a lovely bed 180×200 cm with the possibility of making up two additional beds 90x200 cm. There is a possibility of a weekend bed (approx. 0-2 years). A duvet, pillow, linen and mosquito net for the weekend bed are included. Little ones are more than welcome. 

Here you can relax: 
Outside there is a private wooden terrace with tables, benches, parasol and a fire pit. Under the trees there is space for a relaxing break or a swing in the hammock. Farthest south on the border of the state forest there is a small stream where you can throw small sticks and leaves into the water and watch them sail past further down the stream.

Here's what you should eat: 
The food is prepared on a fire. There are basic kitchen utensils such as a grill grate for the fire, a grill pan, skewers, foil, cutting board, knives, salt and pepper. A simple breakfast from local producers follows, including organic sourdough bread from Bagtanker and honey from Skørping as well as organic cheese, butter and milk. The breakfast is packed in a cooler bag, and you prepare the food yourself when you wake up. You boil water for the coffee over the fire and can warm the bread on the grate.

During some periods, the Dinner can be purchased from us in advance - alternatively, you can bring your own food. We have provided a cooler bag with cooling elements for you upon arrival. The purchased dinner will consist of local ingredients - easily available and prepared on the fire. Easy instructions are included. Meals consist of organic bread and pesto from the Bagtanker bakery, organic vegetables from Tonny's vegetables and free-range pork from Jensens Frilandsgrise. Dinner includes a bottle of wine of your choice from the organic minibar, salty snacks and a little sweet with coffee.

What to drink: 
Two cans of water (2×10 L) have been provided for you upon arrival as well as a cooler bag with cooling elements. There is organic coffee and tea ad libitum. Water is boiled on the fire. In the cooler bag you will find a selection of organic drinks that can be purchased: Wine, beer, soda, gin and tonic.

Here you can explore: 
There are countless hiking trails and MTB routes right around the property, which can take you around Rold Skov, Rebild Bakker, Gravlev Ådal, Troldeskoven and to the many springs in Rold Skov (Store Blåkilde, Ravnkilden etc.). It is about 2.5 km to St. Økssø, where there is a beach and a jetty. There is the possibility of fishing and Stand-up paddle at Mossø. Cycling distance to the newly opened Cold War Museum REGAN Vest. Check the season for blueberries and other delicacies that can be picked in Rebild Bakker (1-2 km from the property). Good to know: 
Please note that there is access to an outdoor shower with cold and hot water at our property (approx. 100 meters from the tent). The outdoor shower is shared with guests in the two other tents and guests in our holiday apartment (2-4 people). There is no electricity at the tent, which is why we recommend, for example, a Powerbank for charging phones, etc. There is a possibility of connecting to an outdoor socket in the area by the outdoor shower, which you are welcome to use. It is possible to charge an electric car (ccs plug; 16A) at our property (for an additional fee).
