Spend the night in the middle of Rold Forest, and get up with the sun and the birds.

Glamping in Rold Skov is located on the border between the North Jutland town of Skørping and one of Denmark's largest forests; Rold Forest. Enchantingly close to Trolleskoven.

The property is located on the Hærvejsruten which follows Stendalsvej near Skørping. Rold Forest contains, together with St. Økssø, Rebild Bakker and REGAN Vest, many activity opportunities in the nearby nature.

Here you will sleep: 
The tent stands by itself surrounded by trees. The tent contains a nice bed 180x200 cm with the possibility of making two additional beds 90x200 cm. There is an option for a weekend bed (approx. 0-2 years). A duvet, pillow, linen and mosquito net for a weekend bed are included. Little people are therefore more than welcome.


Here you should relax: 
Outdoors there is a private wooden terrace with tables, benches, parasol and fire pit. Under the trees, there is room for a relaxer or a swing in the hammock. Further south on the border with the state forest, there is a small stream where you can throw small sticks and leaves into the water and watch them sail by further down the stream.

You must eat this: 
The food is cooked on a fire. There are basic kitchen utensils such as grill grate for the fire, grill pan, skewers, foil, cutting board, knives, salt and pepper. There follows a simple breakfast from local producers, i.a. organic sourdough bread from Bagtanker and honey from Skørping as well as organic cheese, butter and milk. The breakfast is packed in the cooler bag, and you prepare the food yourself when you wake up. You boil water for the coffee over the fire and warm the bread on the grill.

The evening meal can be purchased from us in advance - alternatively you can bring the food yourself. We have put a cooling bag with cooling elements for you on arrival. Purchased dinner will consist of local ingredients - easily available and cooked on the fire. Easy instructions are included. Meals consist of organic bread and pesto from bakery Bagtanker, organic vegetables from Tonny's vegetables and free-range pig from Jensen's Frilandsgrise. Dinner comes with a bottle of your choice of wine from the organic minibar, salty snacks and a little something sweet with the coffee.

You shall drink this: 
Two cans of water (2×10 L) have been placed for you on arrival as well as a cooler bag with cooling elements. There is organic coffee and tea ad libitum. Water is boiled on a fire. In the cool bag, you will find a selection of organic drinks that can be purchased additionally: Wine, beer, soda, gin and tonic.


Here you have to discover: 
There are countless hiking routes and MTB routes right around the property, which can take you around Rold Skov, Rebild Bakker, Gravlev Ådal, Troldeskoven and to the many springs in Rold Skov (Store Blåkilde, Ravnkilden, etc.). It is approximately 2.5 km to St. Økssø, where there is a bathing beach and bathing bridge. There is the possibility of fishing and Stand-up paddle at Mossø. Cycling distance to the newly opened Cold War Museum REGAN Vest. Check the season for eg blueberries and other delicacies that can be picked in Rebild Bakker (1-2 km from the property). Good to know: 
Please note that there is access to an outdoor shower with cold and hot water at our property (approx. 100 meters from the tent). The outdoor shower is shared with guests in the other two tents and guests in our holiday apartment (2-4 people). There is no electricity at the tent, which is why we recommend, for example, a Powerbank for charging phones etc. There is the option of connecting to an outdoor socket in the area by the outdoor shower, which you are welcome to use. It is possible to charge an electric car (ccs plug; 16A) at our property (for an additional fee).
