Camp Ræven by a private lake – breakfast included ⛺️🌿

Camp Ræven is a small, undisturbed glamping site at Bakkegaarden in West Zealand. Here you live in the middle of nature with a private swimming and fishing lake, open fields and abundant wildlife – only about 1 hour's drive from Copenhagen, Odense and Sweden 🚗

The pace is slow here. No WiFi, no electricity and only hot water heated by the sun. In return, you get starry nights, birdsong and the special peace that occurs when everyday life lets go ✨

You park in our courtyard, where we personally welcome you, and then you walk about 450 meters up to your glamping tent and untouched nature. It is possible to borrow a trailer.

The glamping tent is comfortably furnished with a view of the lake and has its own outdoor area with its own campfire site, covered dining area, hammocks and plenty of space around the tent as well as all the necessary equipment.

The glamping tent is located close to the toilet and outdoor kitchen, and it is our most spacious tent. It is therefore ideal for those of you who travel more and/or want to be close to the toilet.

In the morning we have a basket of homemade breakfast ready for you, which you can pick up at the farm. It is based on local ingredients - many of which are grown at Bakkegaarden 🥐🍓

The area around the farm is rich in experiences. Bakkegaarden is located close to Åmosen Nature Park and several Natura 2000 areas, and wildlife is a natural part of the stay. Among other things, we have a pair of Kingfishers living by the lake - in the evening at sunset you can spot the deer and if you are up early you may be lucky enough to see a mother fox with her puppies 🐦🌳

We are a small family that has lived on the farm for several generations and run the place with respect for nature. We personally welcome you and make sure that the framework is in place so that you can relax and enjoy the simple life close to nature 👩‍🌾

1. Made beds with air-dried bedding and 1x towel per person. person

4. A box of firewood with kindling
5. Service and basic kitchen equipment as well as your own campfire site and private outdoor area 🔥
6. Access to our lovely nature and private swimming and fishing lake

Facilities and setting

You have access to a real toilet with cold water and a camp shower between the trees with solar-heated water, outdoor kitchen with gas burner and cooler bags, extra blankets and hot water bottles, stargazing area, bathhouse with the possibility of borrowing kimonos and cozy lighting powered by solar cells. The facilities are shared with 3 other tents

Additional purchases

It is possible to purchase a campfire pot with rabbit meat from Bakkegaarden's own rabbits prepared by a local chef, extra firewood, luxurious towels, fishing as well as jam and other delicacies from the farm's small stall 🍓

In the surrounding area you will find beautiful walking and cycling tours, farm shops within 0.7–3 km, Stort kagebord approx. 3 km from the farm, Bjernede Rundkirke, the local railway in Bagmarken (1.5 km) and shopping in Dagli'Brugs approx. 5 km from us 🥾🍰⛪️

We recommend that you leave your phone in your bag. Should the need arise, it can be charged on the farm in an emergency 📵

Many guests say they wish they had booked an extra night. To get the full nature experience, we therefore recommend a minimum of 2 nights ⛺️

Practical info:

1. Babies up to 1 year stay for free in their parents' bed - we must be notified in advance if you are bringing babies.
2. Children from 2 years old are booked as extra beds (let us know if you want a mattress or travel cot)
3. Dogs are not allowed, except authorized service dogs by prior arrangement.
4. If you have special needs, please contact us before booking so that we can adjust expectations.
5. Camp Ræven is our largest tent at 6 m. in diameter and very spacious. The tent is furnished with a double bed (140x200), two mattresses for extra bedding, table and seating as well as various furnishings with everything you need for a comfortable stay in nature.
6. The breakfast basket is ready at 9 am
