Camp Ræven - Glamping hos Bakkegaarden

At Bakkegaardens glamping you will have a unique glamping experience by our own private lake. Here you can enjoy the starry night sky and cozy up around the campfire and wake up to birdsong and a lake view. You can swim and fish in the lake. You can experience nature and wildlife up close while you relax and enjoy each other's company. The lake is private, and there is only access for you and our guests, so you will experience a very special peace and nature experiences with a large area just for you.

A homemade breakfast brunch and a box of firewood are included in the stay. In the morning you pick up your breakfast, and if you want, you can boil water for campfire coffee/tea yourself. The breakfast consists of, among other things, homemade buns, pancakes, fruit and vegetables, homemade juice and jam, cheese and with delicacies from our own vegetable garden and local products. It is possible to have a vegetarian breakfast or, if you are allergic to gluten, a delicious omelet with fruit and vegetables. 
Dinner can be purchased.

You will stay at Camp Ræven, which is our largest tent at 6 m. in diameter and very spacious. The tent is furnished with a double bed (140x200), two mattresses for extra bedding, table and seating area as well as various furnishings with everything you need, such as dishes, extra blankets etc. The tent is made of a material that ensures that the indoor climate is always pleasant without being too hot or humid.

You have access to a toilet and an outdoor kitchen with water, where you will find the necessary things to prepare food over a fire or gas burner. There is a cool box. It is possible to bathe outdoors with a "camp shower", where the sun has heated the water.

There is a hammock where you can enjoy the silence under the shade of the trees and the view of the lake.

You have your own private area with a fire pit, sun sail, and table/bench set.

Solar cells have been installed to illuminate the tent, toilet and outdoor kitchen as well as LED battery lamps.

It is possible, for a fee, to fish in the lake, where perch and trout can be caught. Equipment can also be rented. It is also possible for adults to take a cool dip in the lake.

Also visit our small shop, where it is possible to buy extra firewood, local delicacies, fleas and much more.

When you arrive, park at the farm. Here you will be given a tow truck, which you can transport your luggage on. It is approx. 450 m up to the lake, and on the walk up there, you will get into gear and experience the nature and the area that opens up to you.

We have three glamping tents by the lake and a small holiday apartment on the farm.

Children under 2 years old are free in their parents' bed. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring your own baby bed, but you can rent one from us, which we will provide. 

The area is known for its beautiful areas, hiking and cycling routes and churches. We are centrally located on Zealand, and it is about 1 hour to Copenhagen, Odense and Malmö. About 15 minutes drive from here you will find Denmark's largest outlet city, as well as exciting culture and history.

Along the roads you can experience horses, cows, rolling fields and small roadside stalls where you can buy local delicacies.
