Elgtråkket i Aurskog - magien av skogens ro tilgjengelig med offentlig transport fra Oslo!

Just 45 minutes by car east of Oslo followed by a 15-minute walk in flat countryside, you can spend the night in our igloo where you can easily wake up to the sight of a moose peacefully wandering by. In Aurskog you are surrounded by classic Østland forest with good hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. If you are an animal lover or just curious to meet an alpaca, it is only a short 12-15 minute stroll down to the host who also runs Killingmo Gård, where you can greet or walk one of these fascinating creatures.

It is easy to get to these igloos by train and bus from Oslo. The bus stops just a few minutes walk from Killingmo Gård where you meet your host and check in. From the igloos there are many nice short trips you can take in the surrounding area, such as Gunhildrudhøgda or Fjuktjern.

In addition to accommodation, Kari-Anne offers a cured meat plate and some snacks, simple campfire food in season, canoe rental with transport to your own water, showers and washing machines for those who wish or want to stay for several days, and last but not least alpaca trekking.
