The farm has a long history, dating back to the viking ages. The oldest standing buildings are more than 400 years old. From the camping site you can enjoy the sunset (or sunrise) over the fjord in the west. In winter time, you can clearly see the Northern light floating in the sky. The place is open and quiet, and as there is little light pollution at night, the starry sky is amazing.
