Overnight at the Arctic dome Rondane
All glamping domains are well heated and are completely ready for use, including a made up bed, sockets, fireplace, outdoor fire pit and wood, towels and outdoor toilet nearby.
The dome is heated heated by multifuel and wood stove. There are three different glass domes at Arctic dome Rondane, depending on what best suits your needs:

Love domain: Perfect for a unique romantic getaway. The dome has room for 2 people. Here you can enjoy beautiful nature and the starry sky directly from bed. The dome contains a bed, a seat by the window and an oven and a coffee table. On the outside there is a small terrace with seating. The domain is available year-round, based on your preferred season.

The family dome: The largest dome at Arctic Dome Rondane. Here you can have a spectacular experience with the whole family or a few friends. The dome has room for up to 6 people, with a large party table downstairs, as well as accommodation on two floors via a charming loft. Here you have both a fireplace and an oven for heating, as well as a fridge and frying pans via wood burning. This is truly a place where you can relax and have the good conversations - without distractions. This arctic domain is available between 10 June and 16 October.

Aurora hut: This is our most intimate and modern glamping accommodation. In an Aurora hut you have a 180 degree view and good opportunities to catch the northern lights in season. The dome offers luxury and everything you need in a few square meters. Here you have a small equipped kitchen, sockets, electricity and space for some storage. On the outside there is a cozy seating area and fire pit. The glass cabin can be enjoyed all year round.

Dogs can be taken in all domains for an extra charge of NOK 100 per night.

Camping options at the Arctic dome Rondane: In addition to glamping, there are 2 options for glamping at the høringen in Rondane. If you want a permanent roof over your head, you can book the newly installed gap huk at Høvringen, with a unique view of the landscape. If you come with a motorhome or camper van, you can book motorhome parking at Smuksjøseter where you can have full access to the facilities at the guest house.


Additional services and facilities at Arctic Dome Rondane

In addition to the accommodation facilities, Arctic dome Rondane offers a number of additional facilities for its guests.

Get maximum relaxation by ordering food to the dome: You can have fresh food boxes with local goods delivered directly to the dome, this can be ordered as an extra when you book the accommodation, at least 3 days before arrival.

Breakfast box: Fresh rolls, boiled egg, cold cuts, jam, cereal, juice and milk.

Mountain tapas: Fennel loin, reindeer sausage, cured ham, lefse roll with trout and three local cheeses with jam.

There are also a number of local activities that can be booked such as dog sledding, snowshoeing and or a guided evening tour under the starry sky (if you're lucky you can also catch the Northern Lights). Things to do at Arctic Dome Rondane

Rondane is an eldorado for outdoor activities all year round. In the summer, you can experience wonderful forays such as Formokampan and Rondeslottet. There are also nice hikes to the Per Gynt cabin where you can get a simple serving in season. The waterfalls Storulfossen and Vesleulfossen are also worth a trip. There is also abundant wildlife around the Arctic Dome Rondane, with both wild reindeer and moose staying in the area. In winter, the area is great for long cross-country trips in open countryside and ice fishing. For the more adventurous, there are great hiking tours such as Veslesmeden and Ljosåbelgen.
