Welcome to a real cabin experience in Krokkleiva – an original log cabin peacefully located in the middle of nature, only about 40 minutes from Oslo. Here you can relax, listen to the birdsong and enjoy the silence far from everyday life. The cabin offers a simple but charming standard where nature and tranquility are at the center.

There is room for several overnight guests, with a double bed with a duvet, as well as two camp beds without duvets – so remember to bring a sleeping bag if you plan to use these. This makes the place perfect for couples, small groups or families who want to stay close to nature and don't mind a slightly more rustic accommodation.

To get to the cabin, drive all the way to Retthelltjern, where you pass a barrier that you get a code for when booking. From the parking lot, you walk about fifteen minutes along a pleasant hiking trail into the forest. The walk in is part of the experience, and it is recommended to wear good shoes – especially if the weather has been wet.

When you arrive, a simple, cozy stay awaits you with a focus on peace, nature and presence. This is not the place for luxury, but for those who want to relax and get back to the simple. It is a good idea to bring a sleeping bag for the camp beds, as well as what you need for food, drink and possibly firewood, depending on the season.
