Welcome to our cozy mountain cabin on the edge of Jotunheimen, surrounded by magnificent mountains and silence. Here you can truly find peace, far from the noise of the city. The cabin is charming and gives you a real, simple mountain experience - with birdsong, trickling streams and maybe a couple of sheep in the summer.

The cabin has no electricity, water or much phone coverage, so this is the place to completely disconnect and just be present in nature.

**Facilities**
The kitchen is simple, but the most important things are in place. We have a wood stove, gas burner, pots, pans and the basics you need to cook. The living room has a rustic charm with a fantastic view of the mountains - a perfect place to enjoy meals together and share the day's stories.

**Bedrooms**
The cabin has two bedrooms with space for three people - one with a bunk bed and the other with a single bed. The rooms are simple, but the beds and blankets are comfortable. Bring a sleeping bag and towels.

**Toilet facilities**
The cabin has a traditional outdoor toilet at the entrance. 
Water must be collected from the lake, in winter you have to melt snow. No shower on site. 
Remember to bring your own toilet paper (we have some available) and personal toiletries.

**The cabin and its charm:**
The cabin is an old, rustic gem. It is not perfect - the floor can be a little crooked, and when it rains a lot, the roof can drip. But this is part of the charm, and part of what makes the stay unique. We maintain the cabin regularly, but also want our guests to appreciate this authentic experience.

**Access:**
The cabin is located a 30-40 minute walk from the parking lot, in mountainous terrain. In winter, you must expect a longer walk, and then skis or snowshoes are necessary.

Firewood and gas are included in the price!
