A historic cabin between Rondane and Jotunheimen embodying the philosophy of "luxury in simplicity." Designed with a minimal ecological footprint (no electricity, outdoor water source), it proves true wealth lies in nature, not overconsumption. Relax in the wood-fired riverside sauna, plunge into the wild stream, and listen to the waterfall.

AIGuests consistently praise the beautiful location of the accommodation, highlighting its scenic surroundings. However, there are significant concerns regarding cleanliness upon arrival and noise from nearby trains, which detracts from the overall experience. Some guests also noted the lack of basic kitchen utensils and issues with the sauna's functionality.

Of grid. Good for a night. Lacks completely basic tools in the "kitchen" such as a cheese slicer and egg cup. Looking forward to the sauna, it had a homemade feel. Not enough wood which also wasn't dry. Didn't get properly warm. Slept fine then.

The place is beautiful, no doubt about it. At the same time, unfortunately, there are several negative experiences that must be mentioned. The ad describes 'absolute silence.' One must expect that the river roars around the clock. But to hear all the trains passing a few hundred meters away was surprising. The cleanliness was poor upon arrival. The worst was the 'festival toilet' which was full of previous guests' feces.
