Accommodation description
With us, you will experience nature close to your body and mind. This is a paddle and hiking paradise for both young and old where we offer accommodation in a specially designed yurt in an outfield camp. Here you have both the sea and a great hiking terrain right on your doorstep in a spectacular nature, only 2 hours journey from Tromsø. Complete tour packages for up to 4 people {/ b} We offer complete tour packages (preferably 3 day packages) with accommodation, transport, food, kayaking with associated equipment, mountain tours and a guide who is also your host during the entire stay. In winter, in addition to winter paddling, we also offer skiing and snowshoeing. All our trips are private and we adapt each trip to our guests' level of experience, wishes and weather conditions. We also warmly welcome families with children. The place is a gem and a unique place to get away from everyday life. NB. The 3-day tours start either Mondays or Fridays. Price stated in the booking applies to a 3-day trip, ie 2 nights and for 2 people {/ b} Eco-camp {/ b} The camp has no electricity but we utilize nature's resources such as wind power and solar energy. We fetch water from a nearby stream or use rainwater. Reuse is in focus with us, and environmental measures such as picking up marine litter are a natural part of our trips. We support local initiatives and local business. What is a yurt? {/ b} Traditionally, a yurt is a portable, round tent covered with leather or felt and used as a residence by nomads in the steppes of Central Asia. Our yurts are a modern variant and specially designed. Glamping and "back to nature" {/ b} Glamping means a combination of luxury and outdoor life. Our yurts are winter insulated and heated with paraffin and wood-burning stoves, which makes them comfortable even in winter. The glass dome on top of the roof means that the light is spread in a great way in the yurt and since it is a form of tent, you will clearly be able to hear the sound of nature such as waves, electricity, wind and animal and bird life. The location of the camp and the actual form of accommodation with a "room" provides a unique closeness to nature, and a great community with those you travel with in a cozy atmosphere. This is the place where you get a "back to nature" experience. Living in a yurt will give you a whole new experience - really closer to nature - and your loved ones! Welcome to us! {/ b}
