Enjoy A Relaxing Break In Devon
Between Dartmoor and the sea & not far from Totnes, our handcrafted, off grid shepherd's hut offers a peaceful place to get away from it all in our pretty two acre meadow.  Inside there is a cosy log burner, double bed and little kitchen plus your own private bathroom hut and lots of outdoor space for you to enjoy.
Enjoy evenings al fresco sitting under the stars around your own fire pit, a basket of logs is included in your stay, extra logs available for a small charge. 
Inside, our hut has a cosy log burner, a double bed, kitchenette & dining area.
Nextdoor is your own private bathroom hut with hot shower & eco friendly compost toilet.
Bedding, tea towel & hand towel provided, please bring your own towels for showering. 
Our hut has solar power, there are no plug sockets but there is a USB charging point. 
The kitchenette has a gas hob with a whistling kettle, there is no toaster or fridge. 
There's lots of wildlife to spot during your stay with us, don't forget your binoculars.  Owls can sometimes be seen swooping down over the meadow in the evening, you might hear woodpeckers & if you are lucky the deer may pay a visit.  Our meadow is great for stargazing, or just sitting out looking for shooting stars.  
The hut is for adults only but we can accept babies under 2 by arrangement, please bring your own travel cot.  Sorry we don't allow dogs on our site except for exclusive site hire.  

We now have a second, more simple hut on our site too, so if you want a more rustic off grid experience but don't want the faff of pitching a tent, have a look at Acorn shepherds hut.
We are a Greener Camping Club site and your booking includes membership of the club at a cost of £12.
