Forest Camp Dalarna

Deep in the forest, next to an old summer pasture, you'll find Forest Camp Dalarna, a place where the tranquility and simplicity of nature offer a chance for deep relaxation. The Camp is run by Elle’s Utemat, one of the most prominent outdoor chefs in Sweden. Here, you can enjoy fantastic meals prepared in our fine outdoor kitchen, where the scents of the fire and flavors from nature's pantry create magical culinary experiences.

Breakfast and a three course dinner is always included when our guests stay in Forest Camp. This way the guests can experience exquisite local ingredients such as reindeer meet and other traditional specialities cooked in the outdoors.

In the heart of Forest Camp, you'll find a charming log cabin. Enjoy cozy moments with brewed coffee and a warm breakfast on chilly mornings or dinner by candlelight in the winter. Right next to the cabin is a bubbling stream where we gather fresh drinking water directly from Vedungsfjället.

Elle’s Utemat works with local ingredients, making meals rich with delicacies like game meat and exciting artisan cheeses from Dalarna.

After a day in the forest or on the mountain, you can unwind in our unique Forest Spa. Here, you'll find a wood-fired hot tub, cold plunge tub, and tent sauna where you can relax in warmth with the forest as your backdrop.

Guests sleep comfortably in winter-insulated glamping tents, equipped with stoves to stay warm all year round. The soft camp beds are made with reindeer skins and cozy sleeping bags for a truly snug and comfortable night’s sleep in the heart of nature.
