Chestnut Brae Farmstay

Farmstay is the original farmhouse on a 100 year old certified organic working sweet chestnut farm.

It features a deck and a balcony both with expansive views. You can fire up the barbecue for a tasty meal and enjoy the garden in fair weather, or light up the log fire to stay warm in the winter. Free private parking is available on site. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, a microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee plunger, all crockery and cutlery, plus all towels and bed linen. You just bring your own food.

Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including fishing, canoeing, hiking, bushwalking, tennis, golfing or visit the open gardens in season. Farmshop on the farm has chestnut products, pork and local farmers produce for sale.

Chestnut products are made on the farm by hand including hand-milled chestnut flour. Guests are offered a complimentary farm tour. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax or explore the region.
