With its dashing colours, the caravan inspires joie de vivre! Bathed in sunlight but sheltered by a large oak tree, it overlooks the meadow and seems to be waiting for anyone arriving via the Pêcherie trail. As soon as you have crossed the few steps, you are in your cozy little house. She smells like cedar. One more step: the sleeping alcove is an invitation to a romantic evening. But before that, at the time of the evening, light the candles, play a few musical notes on the guitar or tell a beautiful story... The long-eared donkeys will surely come to listen.

Property description
La ferme des Ânes is the story of a family home in the heart of Limousin, a country of hills, forests and large lakes on the foothills of the Millevaches plateau. Christophe's great-grandfather settled there in the early 1920s and since then, each generation has maintained and enhanced the 25 hectares of woods and meadows along the river in their own way. Since 1999, they have been raising hiking donkeys there: when you arrive, they listen and come to get to know each other to get a few cuddles. Every morning, you can choose to take a walk with them. Olivier will make the presentations because he knows his animals like the back of his hand: Lupine the rascal, Domino the cuddly, Fol'Avoine the greedy... To install the yurt camp, we chose a beautiful pasture near the farm and bordered by a beech wood. In spring, wild flowers and grasses are left to grow freely: the yurts then seem to "float" on the meadow, a refuge for countless butterflies, crickets, hedgehogs... Our traditional yurts are carefully decorated and very comfortable. Ditto for the spruce gypsy caravan which stands out a bit: in another corner of the estate, it overlooks the sunken lane of the fishery and neighbors with the herd. For breakfast, to get good hiking or restaurant advice, to treat yourself to a moment of relaxation with a good book or a large glass of apple juice, come and see us in the old barn. We welcome you with pleasure to share with you the best of our region.
