The Skylark - our large glamping tent with a view over fields, forests, and fjords

Experience the tranquility and nature in our large glamping tent of 28 square meters, located in our field with a view of Hønsehals Forest and Isefjord in the background. Here, you can enjoy a night with plenty of space, birdsong, and the sound of deer moving in the surroundings. This is the first season we are renting out the tent, and we look forward to welcoming you to an authentic nature experience – right here, where the sky meets the forest and the water.

We call our tent The Skylark because the skylark is our permanent resident on the property throughout the summer. The skylark soars high above the field, and once you catch the song of the lark, it becomes a soothing and pleasant background sound that you cannot do without.

Inside the tent

In the tent, you will find everything you need for a comfortable overnight stay: a lovely double bed, relaxing chairs, a clothes rack, a coffee table with books and games. The tent is on a platform slightly elevated above the terrain, and here you also have the option to take your coffee outside and enjoy the view from camping chairs or a dining table.

Outdoor kitchen and fire pit

Not far from the tent, there is an outdoor kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator, dishwashing facilities, access to drinking water, and all the necessary kitchen utensils to prepare a delicious evening meal. In the refrigerator, there is milk for your coffee, and on the kitchen counter, there is freshly ground coffee for the French press and tea bags. Just outside the tent, there is a fire pit and grill, allowing you to grill the evening meal, make pancakes, or bake bread on a stick.

Toilet and shower

Close to the outdoor kitchen, we have set up a toilet trailer with both a toilet and shower, so you have the comfort of a fully functional bathroom with hot water and a flush toilet.

Breakfast

In the morning, we serve a delicious breakfast, which we place in the outdoor kitchen for pickup at an agreed time. Here, Maria will prepare a tasty meal based on unsprayed vegetables from our market garden, supplemented with the best organic ingredients for a good start to the day. There will, of course, be coffee and tea in the outdoor kitchen, and organic grass milk in the small refrigerator.

Tuse Næs

Tuse Næs is a beautiful and nature-rich area that offers forests, coastline, and a rich wildlife. Here you can hike, bike, or just relax and enjoy the view. Additionally, there are 2 local wineries that produce the most delicious wines and are definitely worth a visit. The area is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet, but also for those who love to explore nature up close.

Add-ons

During your stay, you can sweeten the experience with some extra treats and necessities if needed.

• A bottle of bubbles from either Tusen Vin or Bognæs Vingaard (our two local wineries, which are also worth a visit)

• Pancake batter for 2 people, which can be made on the pancake pan over the fire outside the tent (must be pre-ordered)

• Pancake accessories in the form of organic cane sugar and organic jam (must be pre-ordered)

• Stick bread dough for 2 people, which can be made on stick bread sticks over the fire (must be pre-ordered)

• Extra firewood (refilling the firewood basket) - 75 kr. per refill (ordered during the stay)

Pets

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate your pets, so we hope you can find care for them while you enjoy an overnight stay in the great outdoors.
