The rural hamlet of Talurdo is located in the heart of nature and is a place with beautiful views of Cork oak, Pine and Eucalyptus trees, plants and shrubs. We have created a beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy nature, relax and unplug in the peaceful setting of a formerly abandoned rural village nestled in the Algarve Serra by hills. This is a fantastic peaceful location to host retreats with accommodations, glamping, a Finnish sauna, horseback riding, a yoga deck, natural swimming pond, tree platform for star gazing,duck pond, hiking trails and a vast ancient lake reservoir on our doorstep where you can Kayak and Paddleboard (yes we have them) and SWIM. For cooking and dining outside, the Talurdo Retreat offers a fully equipped outdoor kitchen (Midtown Bar & Grill) with a Weber Grill and flat griddle, sink and refrigerator. We have three different outdoor dining areas and a bar for your use. Look for : our Tree platform, migratory swallows, outdoor shower, hiking trails galore.

We are located in the heart of nature. There is a beautiful ancient lake/reservoir nearby available for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and relaxing. The Castle city of Silves is 25 minutes away. Not to be missed. The local town, Sao Marcos da Serra, is 10 minutes away - day markets, minimercados, coffee shops and restaurants. The two local water fontes in Sao Marcos de Serra offer free 8.5 ph water.
