Thorupgaard – Glamping for the whole family

We enjoy being able to offer our guests a break from a hectic everyday life. Here there is time for the youngest in the family to play with our cuddly cats and the farm dog Ace. He is a big, happy dog ​​who loves to talk to our guests.
Enjoy the sight of the cattle grazing in the field. Go to the barn to greet the mini pig Grøffe and his little pig family, and pet the rabbits. Children are also very welcome to help the farmer feed the animals and collect eggs from the chickens.
Out in the large courtyard there is also space for play and relaxation: large sandbox with swing set, playhouse, slide and bicycles and scooters etc. And chairs and tables for the adults.
In the "forest" there is a campfire site, which you are very welcome to use.

You will stay in a 28 square meter tent with window panels, so you have a view of the starry sky. The tent is furnished with 1 3/4 bed, 2 single beds, dining table with 4 chairs, wardrobe rack, where there is 1 towel per person as well as bathrobes and slippers, 4 armchairs with 2 small tables as well as glasses and mugs. Bed linen is laid out when you arrive (we will be so happy if you take off the bed linen when you leave and put it on the floor. Thank you)
Service and kitchenware etc. are found in the small kitchen next to the cafe. Next to the small kitchen there is a toilet with a shower.
Breakfast, which is included in the price, is served in the cafe.
On the terrace there is a large wilderness bath, which is heated by the accompanying wood-burning stove. It is a fantastically lovely experience to sit in the warm water and enjoy the view over the fields. Here you can enjoy the company of people you love, and maybe have a small drink or two. We are happy to help with lighting, but after that you must maintain the fire in the wood-burning stove yourself by adding wood about every half hour until you reach the desired temperature. It usually takes 4-5 hours. Wood can be purchased from us or brought along. You can also purchase a heated wilderness bath. Price 900 kr including wood
Option to rent a cold water tub filled with cold water and ice cubes. A fantastic experience to jump from the hot water into the icy water.

Thorupgaard Gårdbutik & Grillcafe
In the spring of 2023 we built a combined farm shop and grill cafe in the old pig barn.
The shop/cafe is cosily furnished with furniture, household items and decorative items from a bygone era.
In the freezer in the farm shop you will find delicious, tender beef from our own Dexter cattle. Our cattle are out in the fields and meadows all year round. The calves always stay with their mothers and receive mother's milk as long as they want. This natural life gives healthy, strong animals that are very rarely sick and therefore do not receive medicine. And you can taste it in the meat. Since our cattle are beef cattle, they do NOT get Bovaer.
We have different cuts: steaks for grill or pan, short ribs, ground beef, etc. However, we reserve the right that certain cuts may be sold out.

In addition, we also have mead, honey and crafts from local artists.
In the grill cafe we ​​have burgers, all made from minced meat from our cattle, grilled chicken, french fries, kebab mix and sausage mix
And homemade warm pretzel cake, coffee/tea and not least old-fashioned ice cream cones, where the ice cream is Hebbelstrupgaard Bondegaard's ice cream, which is available in 8 flavors and with homemade crunch. The best ice cream ever :-)
Also possible to order food to make yourself: "Bake-your-own mini pizzas", pancake dough with toppings or popcorn.
