“Myrgubben” is a charming older cabin that still offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Tucked away in a secluded spot at Vassbakken on the southern side of Lake Sjusjøen, it provides a peaceful retreat where you can truly unwind and enjoy the quiet of the mountains. It is ideal for families, couples, or friends who want to slow down and reconnect with nature.

The cabin has two bedrooms and can accommodate up to five guests. Bedroom 1 features a double bed (180 cm), while Bedroom 2 has a family bunk bed (150 cm/75 cm), making it well suited for both adults and children. Inside, you will find practical comforts such as a dishwasher, running water, and electricity, making everyday life easy even in a remote setting. Pets are also welcome, so you can bring your four-legged companion along.

The cabin is located about 100 meters from the nearest ski trail, giving you direct access to some of the area’s best cross-country skiing. Whether you prefer long scenic tours or shorter, relaxed trips, the trails start right outside your door. During summer and autumn, the same surroundings turn into a paradise for hiking and cycling.

Sjusjøen center is only 2.5 km away, where you will find a grocery store, sports shop with ski and bike rentals, as well as restaurants and a café/bar. By Lake Sjusjøen there is also a lovely playground for children, along with opportunities for swimming and fishing, making it a great place to spend warm days.
