In Mongolia the word 'ger' means 'home' and how wonderfully homely this ger feels!
A perfect retreat for a family holiday or a romantic break for two.

The Mongolian Details
In its own private setting this is a very cosy and warm yurt. The Ger has a central wood-burning stove and is furnished with three raised pine beds - one double and two singles. The beds are decorated with colourful throws and cushions creating a wonderfully warm ambience. Bedding can be supplied at extra charge - and we supply a chest full of blankets if it gets a little cold. There is a gas hob inside the Ger with all the cooking equipment, utensils and crockery you could need. You will have a basket of firewood for every day of your stay (£5 for ny additional baskets) and there is also a private campfire just outside the Ger (perfect for outdoor cooking!) as well as a picnic bench.

Larkhill Tipis & Yurts 

Inspired by a dwelling used by the Sami people of northern Scandinavia - these nomadic people travel the cold tundra of Norway, Sweden and Finland with their reindeer herds.
A cross between a Tipi and a Yurt - a snug escape from reality for families and couples.

The Lavvu Details
Unusual accommodation for the discerning traveller! The Lavvu is similar to a Tipi in shape, incorporates a crown like a yurt and has a wonderfully unique cocoon-like feel to it.

Furnishings include a double bed and two singles - with colourful throws, cushions, sheepskins and rugs creating a warm ambience. With an easy to use central wood burning stove and a basket of firewood - ready and waiting for your arrival. There is a dining table and a storage chest full of blankets in case it gets a little cold during the night.

The Lavvu also has a gas hob and all the cooking equipment, utensils and crockery you could need! Outside there is a private campfire area, seating and a picnic bench - perfect for a spot of outdoor cooking or roasting some marshmallows!
