Camping spot description
Quiet, wooded environment, presence of wildlife and protected migratory birds. We provide hammocks, deckchairs, small garden furniture on request. The sanitary facilities offer toilets, shower, sink and necessary for washing up, fridge/freezer, electrical outlets for recharging equipment. No electricity on the pitches (presence of water all around the site).

Dog accepted free of charge after discussions with the owners (we have our dog Airedale terrier who reigns over her domain, sociable player.

The dogs remain under the responsibility of their masters (runaway dogs, abstain, the land is not fenced but surrounded by ditches/canals).

Property description
Exceptional camping site in the heart of the Vendée Breton marshes classified Natura 2000, area surrounded by canals, trees, large meadows, fabulous lights and sunsets, rest area for migrants (we have our couple of storks who come to rest there and breed there every year). Near the large Vendée beaches (10' by car), dunes and state forests, near Noirmoutier and the Ile d'Yeu. Ideal territory for cyclists, hikers, bikers, surfers... and lovers of authentic, preserved and rejuvenating nature.

    - Lovers of old stones, the Moulin de Rairé is a little gem and you can take home delicious flour. Pancake tasting on site and visit to the eco-museum.
    - La Bourrine à Rosalie is also an authentic eco-museum which will introduce you to the heritage and history of local life.
    - The village of Sallertaine, a charming village of artisans will open the doors of passionate creators to you. Beautiful church to visit including exhibitions.
    - Noirmoutier and its Passage du Gois - submersible road - which is full of shells for shore fishing enthusiasts. The island is also to be discovered, by bike it's really nice. At high seas, the bridge will offer you a magnificent view of the area, you will pass near a spot adored by surfers and kiters (Fromentine/Barre de Monts). You can also embark there for the Ile d'Yeu, jewel of the Vendée coast.
