Benneweis is ready to welcome you - if you dare. The old wagon has left the children's universe and has now become a space for whimsical, some slightly scary but also fun and beautiful creatures. The sleeping area is beautiful and inviting with the moon and stars and a large window overlooking the fields.
Use Benneweis as a creative retreat where you can immerse yourself in painting, drawing, or writing.
The wagon is equipped with a small desk with a view over fields and valleys, and an easel for painting.
There is a sleeping area with two mattresses and cozy surroundings. There is also a wood stove, a small dining area, and space for your belongings at the entrance. The simple kitchen life is ready with service, coffee, and tea.
There is no electricity or water in the wagon, but you can find it in the Grejhytten. You can heat water on the wood stove and enjoy your coffee on the south-facing terrace or inside with a view of the landscape.
Enjoy nature outside where the fields stretch out and you can see some really beautiful sunsets. In Benneweis, you have the opportunity to enjoy the changing nature while staying cozy and warm inside. The large windows quickly warm up Benneweis, but in cloudy and cold weather, you have the wood stove to help. The bed is made, and towels are ready for you, you just need to show up with your luggage and enjoy some good days in nature.
There is an option to purchase delicious food and exciting events. Contact Heidi for a longer stay.

Here in the hilly Søhøjland, where the eye can stretch and silence descends over the landscape, I have created a place that unites everything I love: nature, presence, outdoor life, history, and communities. I grew up in nature and moved freely in it from a very young age, so I learned early to read the landscape, recognize the changing of the seasons, and understand that nature provides peace, freedom, and depth. That feeling has followed me throughout my life and became the seed for Holmely. A longing to create something that could invite others out into the same peace and simplicity that I have found strength in. I have always had a strong creative urge. Where others saw an old barn, I saw a gathering place. Where others saw a piece of wild land, I saw a gift for insects, birds, and animals. I have renovated, rebuilt, planted, moved, lifted, repaired, and dreamed my way to the Holmely you meet today.
