The Tipi Nightingale Shelter at Villa Skovly offers coziness with a touch of luxury in the heart of the South Funen countryside. Villa Skovly lies like a hidden gem at the edge of the Purreskoven forest, only 100 m from a quiet private sandy beach and exudes fantasy and adventure. Through beautiful surroundings and history, we take you on a stay away from everyday life and offer relaxation, inspiration and well-being for adults and children alike.
Wake up in the middle of nature, from a peaceful sleep in soft beds. Start the day with a wonderful breakfast laid out in romantic surroundings in the Æblehaven or have it served on the tent's own wooden deck. Then it's just a matter of putting on the linen bathrobe and stepping out of the tent opening. The early risers can go for a morning dive in the South Funen Archipelago, just a stone's throw from Villa Skovly, and then have the opportunity to warm up in a bath or shower in the newly renovated bathroom in Villa Skovly's north wing.
If the weather is good, the day can be spent playing, fishing and relaxing on the beach – the brave can try out our paddle boards – and perhaps a walk along the beach to Lundeborg Harbor for a well-deserved ice cream. The energetic are welcome to jump on our mountain bikes and explore the beautiful surroundings around Villa Skovly or go exploring in the forest. If you're lucky with the season, the forest abounds with food – pick blackberries for dessert, nettles for soup or maybe even chanterelles or chestnuts for starters.
The Tipi Nightingale hide is, as the name alludes, hidden at the end of the Apple Garden. Hidden in the shrubbery, the nightingale hide has only birds for neighbours, but is located with a view over both the sea and the marsh. The terrace is angled so that guests can enjoy morning, daytime and evening sun.
