Hidden among the trees, with the sound of a babbling brook just outside, you will find our cozy tinyhouse.
Here you can wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace, greet chickens, rabbits, horses, and sheep, try a mini pottery course, or light up the wood stove or private sauna when the evening gets cool.
The house is small but contains all the essentials – a private kitchen with the necessary tools, a toilet, and free access to firewood. Outside, you will find a fire pit where you can cook over an open flame.
The Accommodation
Although the house is small, the 4-meter ceiling gives a lovely feeling of airiness and spaciousness. However, the ceiling height in the kitchen and bathroom is only 179 cm, so if you are taller than that, you will need to duck your head a little right here.
Our wood-fired tent sauna is rustic but full of coziness.
The sauna takes about 2 hours to heat up, and there is of course firewood available.
If you are up for a little extra refreshment, you can also use our outdoor cold-water shower.
A small oasis – as part of something bigger
The tinyhouse is located at Ellelyst, a lively and creative place with, among other things, a family co-housing community, daycare, and a pottery workshop with a shop.
You arrive past our main house, and although the tinyhouse is near other residents, it feels like its own little corner of the world. There is forest on one side, chickens and rabbits on the other, and a babbling brook on the third.
POTTERY COURSE
As an extra experience during your stay, you can purchase a mini pottery course where you can get your hands in the clay and create your very own cup or small bowl. You will get to try out different techniques, and everyone can join in – even beginners.
Price: 400 kr. per person
The price includes one hour of instruction, materials, firing, and shipping, so your finished pottery will be sent home to you.
