Here you choose a desired place. We always make sure that there is plenty of air around the seats in terms of comfort and safety.
You can choose between different areas either around the lake, where you can be more private, or around the large playground, where children find each other or behind Gyvelbakken, where it is calmer and you have a view of the lake.
The campsite has two service buildings, with all the facilities you need - incl. refrigerator, freezer, washing machine and handicap accessible shower and toilet. There are cozy rooms with tourist information, books and games.
To protect the grass, we prefer to avoid plastic bottoms in caravan awnings, as it takes a long time for us to get the grass re-established.

Property description
Jellemien and Willem are your hosts We moved to Denmark from the Netherlands in 1992. We put our soul into servicing our guests. About Jellemien I feel like a kind mother to all our guests. I do my best to give them experiences they will remember for a long time - and that is why many come again. I get extra energy from seeing excited kids and happy people, as well as knowing their vacation has done them good. About William I feel proud as an organic farmer when I can see that the animals are doing well and when people tell me that it is a great experience to eat our products. That kind of happy guests provide inspiration and energy to continue the good work. We place great emphasis on presence, family atmosphere, kindness, great hospitality and heart space. Our camping concept It all started with us setting up a caravan for family and friends who came from Holland to visit. They always enjoyed nature and time with us, and we would like to give that joy to many more. In 1996 we got permission to start the campsite. In 2003 we built the first cabin and since then it has become 3 cabins. We are constantly developing our concept so that we can give our guests an unforgettable experience. We always welcome good ideas and input. At Gyvelborg, there are plenty of opportunities to experience how real life takes place on an organic farm. Our concept with the campsite so close to the farm means that our guests have the opportunity to gain insight into how our animals feel and how everyday life takes place on an organic farm. Everyone is welcome to join when we pick up the cows from the field, feed them, milk them and when the milk is subsequently picked up by Thise Dairy.
