Rødhus Klit Camping is located out in the middle of the dunes in the scenic North Jutland. Nearest neighbors are the new Tranum Nature National Park and the roaring West Sea. We are a campsite that also welcomes camping with your dog or horse. The surrounding nature offers ample opportunities for long walks or horse-riding trips in the nearby plantations.

Rødhus Klit Camping is characterized by the fact that it is a nature campsite. This is because the site is located right in the middle of the North Jutland nature with all that it entails.

From a nature lover's perspective, the location can't get much better, as there are so many different opportunities to use nature. Not only is the campsite located in the middle of the most beautiful nature, nature is also used to give the visitors the best experience.

Dogs and horses are also welcome on the campsite.

Various outdoor activities are available, with which you can enjoy the surroundings and soak up the fresh scent of the West Sea. With natural tools made of stone and wood, a cozy campfire has been created, where it is possible to gather family and friends for a cozy evening.

Here you can sit for hours and look into the flames. Maybe sing some songs and enjoy the fellowship. In addition, making sno bread or roasting marshmallows is very popular for people of all ages.

It is a pleasure to see how both families but also people who do not know each other gather and create a community around the fire. A fire place that nature has contributed to with its own tools.

In addition, there is a large playground with a bouncy cushion, football goal, slide, climbing frame, a large swing and much more. Every day, the youngest spend many hours in the square, and it spreads an atmosphere of life and joy when the little ones use the various activities.

All around the square there are also tables and benches that you can use as you wish. It is also something that helps to bring life to the site that our visitors are good at moving from their own caravans, cabins or tents and using the site. It gives a completely unique atmosphere that you don't find at every campsite.

There is plenty of space in the courtyard, and a barbecue has been set up here, which you can use as you like. It is always ready for free use, and one should not hold back from using it.
