Kjeøya is located just outside Ballstad - in the heart of everything Lofoten has to offer.

On the island, you live alone with beautiful nature, sheep, grouse, and eagles.

The fishing lodge consists of 3 unique suites in a historic style, in addition to 1 design microhouse - total capacity for 8 guests. The facilities maintain a high standard in the kitchen, bathroom, and have comfortable beds.

The property is located on an island. Transport to and from the island is conducted by boat (100 meters), and will be arranged with the hosts according to the guests' wishes. The hosts live in the nearby area and are easily accessible for any questions and inquiries, as well as assistance with the boat if desired.

If desired, the hosts can live on Kjeøya with you. In that case, we have capacity for a maximum of 6 guests. The hosts contribute to ensuring that your stay is tailored and adjusted just as you wish.

Without resident hosts on the island, good experience with boat use is required.

You have access to a sauna and hot tubs filled with warm water at the dock. From the pier, there are great swimming opportunities.

You have access to 2 kayaks. These can only be used by guests with a wet card.

There are good fishing opportunities in the area - either from the island or from a boat. Fishing from a boat must be arranged with the hosts. Equipment for this is available.

There is a vibrant wildlife in the area. On Kjeøya, you can find sheep, grouse, eagles, otters, and minks. If you are lucky, you might get a visit from a porpoise, killer whale, and whale.

Around the island, there are great snorkeling and diving opportunities. The local diving company offers various diving trips where you are picked up at the dock and explore the surrounding area.
