Welcome to the Arctic Hideaway

A tiny-hotel in the arctic Norwegian archipelago Fleinvær, outside city Bodø. Our place is an architecturally playful and stunning collection of ten individual buildings, where four are sleeping cabins. The shared areas are the iconic Tower House, kitchen house, studio building, bath house, Crab shack (a shelter for outdoor cooking), and sauna. For limited periods, we will offer single cabins for rent. 


The Arctic Hideaway is an experience like few others. Our space is as much a mindset as it is a physical location — a place to unplug and unwind. It is a place that will give you visual tranquillity and no noise. It is truly a transformative experience staying here. Simplicity at its finest gives the opportunity to explore the art of doing nothing.


The price of 1450 NOK includes rent of your own cabin and breakfast served every morning at 9 pm. In addition we charge a food fee of 500 NOK per day per person to cover the food you have ate from our pantry. This includes free access to our food selection and drinks like water, coffee and tea is available for your self service 24/7. The 500 NOK is included in the price that we charge. We sell alcohol at the Hideaway. If you have any favorite food or snack, we urge you to bring your favorites with you as we practice 'simplicity at it's finest' and focuses on a basic and sustainable assortment.
