A break from everyday life

Enjoy a beautiful sunset and fantastic view from the igloo, lie down in Egyptian cotton duvets and spend the night under the "open" sky. Wake up to the sound of the sea and birds chirping, and start the morning with a trip out to the archipelago in a sit-on-top kayak or SUP board. You are also likely to see sea eagles.

Then take the trip up to one of the municipality's most popular mountains, Vågfjellet, which is close by, and enjoy a great view of Hellandsjøen, Hitra and everything in between. Stop by the farm and say hello to the alpacas before strolling back to the igloo and let these calm, funny and fascinating creatures bring a smile to your face. Try your luck fishing from the rock or from the sit-on-top kayak and catch your own dinner - this is how a nice weather day at Auna in a glass igloo can unfold. But, on a bad weather day, it can also be quite nice to just sit inside the igloo and watch the weather raging outside. It feels like you're outside, but protected from rain and wind. A special experience.

Tips:
-Bring warm clothes and waterproof shoes (from the car park it is approx. 500 meters to walk through the forest to get to the igloo)
-There is no electricity in the igloo, so bring a fully charged phone or power bank if you need to use your phone during your stay
-In the summer: if you have problems sleeping in bright rooms, bring a sleeping mask
-Food: bring your own food and prepare it on the mini gas grill, the storm kitchen (with gas) or the fire pan located by the igloo. 4-5 liters of drinking water are placed in a tap inside the igloo
- It is possible to pre-order a cheese and biscuit package with various locally produced cheeses from Orkladal Ysteri, locally produced apple cheese, homemade shortbread etc., which you will receive on arrival.
