Unik og stille plass

After we had to tear down the Arctic dome due to a leak, a wooden lavvo has been built.
We are not quite finished inside, as we will insulate and install panels. But the lavvo can be used as it is and will be nice and warm inside. Not many people insulate the walls, but we choose to do so to keep the walls even warmer in the winter when they are heated.
The Finstad lavvo is close to the alpacas' enclosure, so it is possible to sit outside and eat breakfast or sit by the window and just enjoy the beautiful animals.
In spring and autumn, it is also possible to see the Northern Lights dancing or the starry sky when darkness has arrived :-)
We have alpacas giving birth from about July to September after they are mated. If you are lucky, you may catch a birth or two, but then they stay about ***** meters away because they are kept more under supervision.

Showers and toilets can be found 200 meters down in the yard.
