Idyllic log cabin by the beach, Lake Storsjøen. Located between Oslo and Trondheim.

The log cabin has a veranda with a roof, where you can sit and enjoy the view towards the confluence of the rivers Mistra and Rena. NB! Important information: There is no running water or bathroom/WC in the cabin. A newer guest bathroom with underfloor heating, WC, and shower is available in the firehouse 80 meters away. Here, water can also be refilled in a watering can, which is filled and placed in the kitchen upon arrival.

Sputnesset Guesthouse is beautifully located between Oslo and Trondheim. It is a great place for peace, relaxation, fishing, culture, as well as hiking in the woods and mountains. You can drive through Østerdalen or take the train to Koppang, where some arrivals correspond with a bus to Åkrestrømmen. Contact us and we will find a solution.

There are good duvets and pillows in the cabin, bedding can be brought or rented for NOK 100 per person.

Cleaning upon departure can be done by guests themselves, or they can pay NOK 400 to have it done by us. If guests bring a dog, the price is NOK 500.

Rowboat located on the beach can be rented from the neighbor.
