Accommodation description
The log cabin has a veranda with a roof, where you can sit and enjoy the view towards the outlet of the rivers Mistra and Rena.
NB! Important information: There is no running water or bathroom/wc in the cabin. Newer guest bathroom, heating cables, WC and shower can be found in the firehouse 80 meters away. Water is also refilled here in the water jug, which is filled in the kitchen upon arrival.

Sputnesset Gjestegard is beautifully situated in the middle of Oslo and Trondheim. It is a great place for peace, relaxation, fishing, culture, as well as walks in forests and mountains. You can drive through Østerdalen or take a train to Koppang, where some arrivals correspond with a bus to Åkrestrømmen. Get in touch and we will find a solution.

There are good duvets and pillows in the cabin, bed linen is brought along or can be rented for NOK 100 per person. person.

Guests can do the cleaning on departure themselves, or pay NOK 400 to have it done by us. If guests bring a dog, the price is NOK 500.

Rowing boat located on the beach, can be rented from a neighbour.

      • Laundry must be done on departure. Laundry can be done by Sputnesset Gjestegård for NOK 350. There are good duvets and pillows. Pillow covers/duvet covers + sheets and towels can be rented for NOK 75 per person. NOTE, the distance to the bathroom from the cabin and the wheelhouse is approx. 80 meters.
