Marina Marnemoende IJsselstein welcomes you in the middle of the Green Heart. You can enter here or arrive by camper or car for a unique holiday. Marnemoende is located on the Hollandse IJssel between the meadows and near Utrecht. Here you will find peace on the water without having to be far from the city.

Spend the night on a camping raft
Camping raft Marnemoende is a unique way to spend the night on the water. Board a Canadian canoe at the marina to find your floating camping raft in a green setting at the back of the pool. The camping rafts are suitable for a maximum of four people and you will receive camping gear at the marina, but there are no other facilities on the Marnemoende camping raft. On the other hand, you can use the sanitary facilities of the marina.

If you prefer facilities on the water, you can also spend the night in a float house. These floating houses for four people are located on jetties of the marina. They are self-sufficient with solar panels, boiler and toilet. Finally, wooden design cottages for six people are available for those who want to stay on land.

Marmemoende camper place
If you come with a camper or caravan, you can go to the Marnemoende camper place. The camper pitches are right on the water, partly paved and partly on the grass. There are also three camping spots available.

Marnemoende facilities
In addition to the camping rafts and the motorhome pitch, Marnemoende offers various facilities. Sanitary facilities are available. New is the Bootenzo shop, where you can buy regional products in addition to water sports items. Restaurant Rivers Marnemoende offers the opportunity to look out over the water from the terrace while enjoying an excellent meal. Marnemoende also organizes all kinds of activities, such as SUP events, barbecues, and rowing competitions. You can also rent boats at the marina.

Boat rental at the marina
A stay on the water is of course not complete without a day of sailing. An overnight stay on the camping raft includes a canoe, but if you are on the motorhome pitch and/or want to rent a motorboat or luxury sloop, that is also possible. You can sail on both petrol and electric. No license is required for the sloops. There are various routes available over the IJssel and through the green landscape from Gouda to Utrecht. The historic Dutch landscape comes into its own from the water!

Walking and cycling in the Green Heart
Camping on a camping raft in Marnemoende or spending the night at the motorhome pitch means that you wake up with the Green Heart at your feet. Here you can fully enjoy vast meadows and the culture and history of Utrecht. There is also 60 hectares of forest on the recreational area of Marnemoende. Together with the many historic towns, such as Oudewater and Montfoort, this green area offers much to see and experience along many walking and cycling routes.
