The Stieltjeshoeve is known among campers and horse lovers as a nice campsite in Stieltjeskanaal with a cozy bistro where campers like to eat and gather in the evening. But did you know that the Stieltjeshoeve is also a glamping site? The Stieltjeskanaal campsite offers a luxury bell tent, safari tent and geodome tent for anyone who wants to camp with some extra comfort. All glamping accommodations are fully furnished, have a power connection and a camping toilet. Beds are made upon arrival.

The brand new bell tent is equipped for two people with a double bed including furniture and a small fridge, hob, kettle and coffee maker. Next to the large bell tent is a second smaller tent furnished with two single beds. The entire accommodation is therefore extremely suitable for families.

The geodome tent has a similar design but is slightly more spacious and has both a double bed and a single bed. A second small bell tent next to the geodome tent offers space for two people.

The six-person safari tent is the most spacious glamping accommodation. The safari tent has a double bed and two bunk beds, as well as seating for six - both inside and outside.

The campsite in Stieltjeskanaal has sanitary facilities with hot showers, one of which is a spacious family shower that is also wheelchair accessible. There is also a washing-up area outside. The campsite has a bistro where you can dine extensively. In the morning you can order freshly baked rolls or a complete breakfast.

There is plenty of opportunity for entertainment at Camping de Stieltjeshoeve. There is a lawn for children to play and there are go-karts, play equipment, table tennis tables and a small swimming pool in the summer.

What to do around camping Stieltjeskanaal
Stieltjeskanaal in Drenthe is a quiet village along the Stieltjeskanaal. The canal is popular with fishermen so be sure to bring a fishing pole. There are various cycling routes in the area and the Pieterpad runs directly past Camping de Stieltjeshoeve. Wildlands Emmen and the dolmens are also close to the campsite and the Drenthe nature in the area is beautiful.
