Inside, you'll discover the comfort of two kingsize beds with pocket spring mattresses and soft cotton bedding, promising nights of unparalleled sleep.

Stepping outside onto the small porch, immerse yourself in the breathtaking panoramic views of the valley and rolling hills. Nearby, a quaint iron stove stands ready, catering to your rustic cooking needs and ensuring piping hot water for your morning coffee or tea rituals.

Amenities:

To the left of the tent, you will find your own private outdoor wooden shower, supplied with towels and refreshingly cold water from our well. Nearby, your private "dry" toilet is available for use, utilizing fine straw as our preferred carbon-rich organic material, later repurposed as compost.

Additional Services:

♡ We offer optional preparation of breakfast and/or lunch upon request, available at an additional cost. Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies when making your reservation.

♡ Additionally, guests can purchase our homegrown 'liquid gold' olive oil and olives, as well as other organic, fresh produce depending on availability at the time of your stay.

♡ Guests have the option to purchase sustainable all-purpose soaps from us or bring their own eco-friendly solutions.

My recent stay at the Bell Tent in Vale Amado's Oliveira, Off-Grid was absolutely delightful. As someone with a creative profession, I often need to unwind from the hustle and bustle of city life, and Portugal holds a special place in my heart. The serene surroundings and off-grid accommodation in the valley were exactly what I needed. Surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque walking and sports trails, I found the perfect escape. The spacious Bell Tent provided excellent facilities, including Wi-Fi, ensuring I could stay connected while still enjoying the tranquility of nature. Besides that, Nicolas, the host, was fantastic—he's really chilled, allowing you to do your own thing, but he's also incredibly knowledgeable about the area, technical issues, or fun facts. Additionally, his knowledge and expertise regarding nutrition are extensive, and he always manages to make delicious things with local products. The olives from his orchard are, in my opinion, his specialty. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in the heart of Portugal!

Completely blown away by this unique experience. In the middle of Portuguese nature I found stillness and also there was adventure (cycling, hiking) around the corner if I wanted it. Grateful for the warm and generous host who accommodates in an excellent way. Will come back real soon!!
