“I am a person who finds peace and inspiration in nature – especially where silence can fill the space, and the pace slows down. My interests revolve around outdoor life, immersion, and simple living, where one can disconnect from the noise of everyday life and get closer to oneself and the surroundings. At the same time, I have a great passion for ultrarunning, especially in Arctic environments, where both limits and resilience are put to the test. It is here that I find a special kind of clarity – in the meeting between the raw landscape and the body's and mind's utmost capabilities, clearly feeling our most basic needs. With “The Bear in the Mountains,” I wish to give my guests an experience of peace, simplicity, and closeness to nature – but also a sense of adventure. A place where one can retreat, find their own pace, and have time for closeness, reflection, and conversation. I value genuine experiences, slowness, and sharing nature with others in a simple and down-to-earth way.”
