Birdbox Lotsbergskaara – Et unikt fristed med panoramautsikt over Nordfjorden

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located 270 meters above sea level in one of Norway's most beautiful gems - Nordfjord. Here you will get a unique experience framed in one of the finest views in the country, where you can enjoy both luxury and silence. From the cabin you can experience deer grazing and eagles soaring right outside the window, while embracing the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere of your own private oasis.

Skaara Living is pleased to offer Birdbox Lotsbergskaara, one of our two exclusive Birdbox cabins. This intimate cabin consists of one room, where minimalist design and carefully selected details merge with the spectacular nature outside. Large windows provide panoramic views of the Nordfjord and the majestic mountains, so that the landscape becomes an integral part of the experience. Every detail of the cabin has been chosen to provide a sense of calm and connection to the surroundings - from the soft morning lights to the peaceful view that you can enjoy while relaxing.

What can you expect at Birdbox Lotsbergskaara?
- Luxury and comfort in one room: The cabin is designed for total relaxation, with a double bed measuring 150 x 200 cm, two chairs and a small table. A kitchenette with a kettle, fridge and sink provides you with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

- Privacy and tranquility: This is a perfect place for those who want to unwind from everyday life in a peaceful, private atmosphere, completely free from disturbances.

- Outdoor area for nature experiences: Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located in an area where you can enjoy the silence, go for walks or explore the wonderful surroundings. From the cabin you can enjoy the view or take a short drive to wonderful nature experiences in the area.

- Incineration toilet: An incineration toilet is available just outside the cabin, providing extra comfort and privacy during your stay.

- No running water: Please note that there is no running water, and it is therefore important to bring sufficient drinking water and food for your stay. A 5-liter water jug ​​for hand washing is available in the cabin, and we provide a bottle of water and a bottle of non-alcoholic drink in the fridge, produced by Påldtun, which you can share as a gift from us.

- Air conditioning and heat pump: For extra comfort in all seasons, the cabin is equipped with both air conditioning and a heat pump, so you can adjust the temperature to exactly the level you want.

- No cooking or heating: There is no possibility to heat or cook food in the cabin, except for using the kettle. We therefore recommend that you bring ready-made food or food that does not require heating during your stay. We recommend buying food from one of the local restaurants at Nordfjordeid. 

Important information
- Shower facilities: We do not have showers available. However, we have an agreement with Nordfjord Hotell, which gives our guests approx. half price day pass to their spa facility upon presentation of booking confirmation.

- Parking and access: The cabin is located approximately 15 minutes drive from Nordfjordeid along the road towards Lote and further towards Lotsberg. Free parking is available on the gravel road just below the birdbox. The nearest grocery store can be found at Nordfjordeid, so be prepared to bring enough food and drinks for your entire stay.

- Due to the lack of running water in the area, the use of emergency kitchens and other open fires is prohibited. We ask all guests to respect this rule.
