Olavstøga is a two-storey log house from 1840. Here you find all modern facilities, but all in the old style, so you get a good, old-fashioned atmosphere in this old, venerable house. Outside there is a large veranda with dining area. And a beautiful view of the lake Vangsmjøsa and the surrounding mountains - here you can find peace!

Our farm is located just off "Kongevegen over Filefjell" , the Kings Road crossing the mountain Filefjell, a popular and spectacular hiking trail who won the Europa Nostra Award in 2017, for its outstanding heritage conservation initiative.

Vang in Valdres is perfect when you love nature and activities. In winter, you can choose between kilometers of ski slopes, ski resorts and summit hikes. In summer there are hiking trails, mountain hikes, bike paths and paths. All year round, there are a number of activity providers in the area. Valdres also offers a varied and rich cultural and festival offer.

Olavstøga is one of three houses on the farm. We have dairy cows in a cooperative barn about 500 m from the farm, and in the summer we have pigs. The farm is located in the center of Vang, And it is walking distance to the grocery store, public sauna, swimming area, public activity park and library. It is also only 2.5 km to cafe and gas station, and 20 minutes to Tyinkrysset mountain lodge with local food.
