Board an igloo and live as close to nature as possible – with Ringsjön’s still waters, the forest and the birds as your closest company. Yggdrasil Igloo is a climate-smart, floating glass dome for two, where you sleep directly on the lake (or very close to the shore), surrounded by forest and the beautiful open landscape of Skåne – just over an hour from Copenhagen and approx. 45 minutes from Malmö.

What can you expect?
Peace, nature and comfort: the igloo is heated and maintains a comfortable temperature of approx. 18–25 degrees, which you control yourself from a smart panel. All power comes from solar cells and bioenergy, so you can enjoy your stay with a clear conscience. Through the large panoramic windows you can follow the light over the lake from sunrise to late evening – or lie in bed and watch the starry sky through the glass roof.

A stand-up paddleboard or rowboat is included with your stay, so you can explore the lake, hidden beaches and the nature reserve around Ringsjön directly from your own "floating terrace". If you're into fishing, you can bring your own rod - just remember to buy a fishing license. In the evening, you can cook in the small kitchen, grill on the terrace or order packed lunches/tapas and breakfast, which are delivered by arrangement - depending on the season and what the host is offering right now - this can be arranged in more detail after booking.

Many call it glamping, but for us it's more than that: a nature and food experience that makes you want to come back to again and again.

It's easy to get here by car (with free parking) or by public transport to Höör and from there a short walk further. When you arrive, you'll be greeted at the farm and followed down to the lake, where the igloo awaits - often with only a few other igloos placed discreetly along the shore, so you have the feeling of your own little corner of nature.

Practical info:

- Capacity: 2 people (double bed). 
- Heating & power: Electronic heating, electrical outlet for charging and lighting – powered by solar and bioenergy. 
- Toilet: Dry/dry flush toilet inside the igloo. 
- Bath: Access to shared bathroom facilities with shower on land (short walking distance). 
- Kitchen: Small, functional kitchen with gas stove, sink with running water and the most necessary kitchenware for simple cooking. 
- Water: Running water in the kitchen and access to fresh drinking water. 
- Meals: Possibility to purchase breakfast and dinner/tapas by arrangement with the host (depending on season). 
- Activities included: Stand up paddleboard or rowboat during the stay. 
- Fishing: Bring your own fishing rod and remember to have a valid fishing license – please write a note when booking if you would like more information.
- Wifi: Yes, there is wifi in the igloo.
- Parking: Free parking at the farm.
- Check-in / check-out: Typical check-in from 3:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM. 

*Note: Yggdrasil Igloo is a nature destination that works with - not against - the weather. Water levels, wind and waves can vary throughout the year. For safety reasons, the igloo may therefore be located closer to the shore or temporarily stand on land during periods of low water levels or strong winds. This is a natural part of the experience at a lake.
