Oceans Edge Eagle Retreat is conveniently located minutes from the BC Ferries, Splashdown Waterslides, and Tsawwassen Mills, one of the largest malls in Canada.

Our open tenting area is located on lush green grass, lots of large mature trees, beautifully manicured gardens, wide open space. And healing energy. 

This area of the property is well suited for tenting, specially for larger groups. No electric, no sewer, no water. But there is access to communal kitchen, showers and portable toilets, communal firepit.

This was a fantastic site, a great place for first-time camping and glamping. Our very young kids had a blast. The fact you camp on a beautiful lawn helps. Very easy to get to. The crew was really friendly as were the other campers.

From the luxury of your tent, you will be able to view them and hear them sing several times a day.  This tent has 2 queen size beds with luxury bedding, fire stoves, and soft carpets for when your feet hit the floor.

Bien avant l’arrivée des Européens, la nation atikamekw vivait dans des habitations en bois, recouvertes d’écorce de bouleau et de peaux d’animaux. Avec le temps, cela a évolué et c’est maintenant la toile de tente qui est utilisée, en raison de sa facilité de transport. Aujourd’hui encore, elle est fréquemment utilisée pour la chasse et la pêche, mais aussi pour certaines activités culturelles.

Pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 4 personnes, notre tente prospecteur vous invite à voyager dans le passé et à revivre l’expérience des atikamekw. Elle contient un matelas de 54 pouces, deux matelas de 32 pouces, un chauffage au bois et une petite cuisinière au propane.

Domaine Notcimik

Minimalistes, il vous permet de séjourner en pleine nature avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et être confortable. Symboles des quatre communautés atikamekw, ces camps prospecteurs sont aménagés à la jonction des sentiers Wackeciw et Émilie-Wasea.

Vous y trouverez un chauffage au bois, une cuisinière au propane et un éclairage.

Le capitowan, ou maison longue, est une grande tente de 20 pieds par 40 pieds qui peut accueillir jusqu’à 20 personnes. Dans la culture atikamekw, il s’agit d’un lieu de rencontre et de rassemblement où l’on échange et où se transmettent les connaissances, les pratiques, l’Histoire et les enseignements traditionnels du peuple atikamekw.

Le capitowan peut être loué en occupation simple ou par des groupes. On y trouve 14 couchages, une cuisinière et un poêle à bois.
