The capitowan, or longhouse, is a large 20-by-40-foot tent that can accommodate up to 20 people. In the Atikamekw culture, it is a place of meeting and gathering where one exchanges and where the knowledge, practices, history and traditional teachings of the Atikamekw people are transmitted.
The capitowan can be rented in single occupancy or by groups. There are 14 beds, a stove and a wood stove.
