Skortskær East Cottage

Stay in our cozy wooden cabin which has been given to the farm for recycling purposes. The cabins are located next to each other in the front yard, with their backs against a small forest on our homestead, far from traffic noise. The farm animals are very attention-seeking, and you will likely meet at least one animal that wants to be petted.

The cabin consists of one room with 2 single beds. 2 duvets and 2 pillows.

The toilet module shared between the cabins is right next to the cabin. The module allows for light meal preparation.

Outside the cabins, there is a grill. It is also possible to make a campfire, as well as purchase firewood here on the farm.

You can order a made-up bed so you can relax right away in the idyllic farm setting. We are also happy to assist with an extra bedding if you want to bring 1 or 2 children along. Please inform us about both when you have booked.

Food Add-ons

You have the option to purchase, for example, dinner or brunch, ask for more information, we are almost self-sufficient with our own animals and our own kitchen garden, where you can also help harvest vegetables, etc. (depending on the season).

We rent out 2 cabins, each for 2 people. The cabins are next to each other and share a toilet module. This makes it ideal for a family or a group of friends on a trip. Or for you, who might want company around the campfire in the evening. Find the other cabin here on the site.

Note: We are a quiet place, so no boom boxes, please be considerate of other guests, and therefore no noise after 10 PM. No smoking indoors, no shoes in tents or indoors.

Self-sufficient Farming

Our cabins are located in the garden close to our house, you have it to yourself if you want to enjoy peace and quiet. On the farm, there are many different animals such as micro pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, horses, turkeys, and cats, all of which enjoy company. We are almost always busy somewhere on the farm and always up for a little chat.

Here is beautiful nature and 2 beaches within 1 km, Vesterlyng and Havnsø beach. The town itself is only 1 km away and is a small fishing village, with ferry crossings to 2 islands.
