I set off for Lolland for the very first time in search of calm and presence. After several months of work stress, I needed to get out and right up close to nature.
Glashytten Mira promised exactly that: a place far from city life, where I could be completely on my own and let nature fill everything.
As you walk toward the glass cabins through the forest, you get a clear sense that everything has been cared for and thought through in detail. There is no doubt that you are far from city life.
Calm settles in, and you slow down completely the moment you step into your cabin.
I loved being surrounded by nature. All the flowers sown in a ring around the glass cabin buzzed with wildlife.
Rabbits, pheasants and fallow deer came right up close, because here you were in their home. It could not get more natural, and the view over the fields is stunning.
Hosts Michael and Hoa offered a wide range of local delicacies for the trip, and I love when the local is looked after and cared for. Nothing beats a glass of cold cider in the wilderness bath with a view over the fields.
If you are lucky, you can lie and watch the stars all night, because the cabin has an open sky. It is wonderfully well thought out.

Jeg er mor til tre og bruger det meste af min tid på at tage billeder og rejse med familien eller venner. Jeg bor i Aarhus og deler ægte historier fra de steder jeg besøger.
