In late June, I embarked on a solo journey to Marianne's charming cabin, perched right above the Oslofjord. My goal was to recharge in the embrace of Norwegian nature and find some peace, and this place offered exactly what I needed.
The cabin is situated on a hill, providing stunning views of the water, surrounded by lush greenery. Every morning I indulged in a refreshing dip in the Oslofjord, just 300 meters from the cabin.
The cabin's design and decor is a perfect blend of elegance, minimalism, and modern comfort, all wrapped in a cosy atmosphere with stunning views. One of my favourite details was the large glass windows, which allowed me to enjoy the view from every corner of the cabin.
It wasn't just the view. It was the whole package: the sleek design, the large windows bringing nature inside, and the private dock giving you direct access to the fjord just outside the door.
Morning dip in Oslofjord: Take the short walk down to the fjord and enjoy a refreshing swim from the private dock. I highly recommend starting your day with a quiet morning by the water, complete with a hot cup of coffee.
Sunset views: If you visit during summer, be sure to stay up for the spectacular Norwegian sunsets. The cabin's location offers an ideal vantage point to witness these breathtaking displays of colour over the water.
Ferry watching: Spend some time on the dock watching the massive Oslo ferries glide through the fjord. It's a peaceful and fascinating experience.
