With three little ones at home, getting out into nature is a must for us every now and then. That is why we decided to head to Bøgebjerg Dome, a place that could offer us relaxation and a touch of luxury in the middle of nature – exactly what we needed.
The wonderful surroundings combined with modern amenities like the wood-fired hot tub, a delicious breakfast, a private bathroom, year-round heating, and the cosy outdoor areas made the stay truly special for all of us.
Our Unique Stay at Bøgebjerg Dome
From the moment we arrived, we were given a warm welcome by the hosts, who had truly thought of every detail. Our dome was private and set apart so we could fully unwind and feel at one with nature. Inside, the dome was cosily furnished and well equipped, while outside we enjoyed the fire bowl, the shelter, the hammock, and of course the beautiful wood-fired hot tub – perfect for spending time together in nature.
A magical experience
It was not just the dome itself. It was also the bed, raised all the way up to the roof, so you lie there gazing at the stars, surrounded by soft duvets while nature sounds outside.
It was also the family behind Bøgebjerg who had thought of every detail. A warm welcome, easy check-in and a feeling of having the place entirely to yourselves. Everything was set up for cosiness and wellbeing, both inside and out.

A little more about the place
We stayed on the property and that was more than enough. The nearest town is not far, so you can grab food without having to make everything yourself. There is a stream nearby, trails and lovely nature all around – but resist the temptation. Stay on site, enjoy the quiet, and let the kids run free in one safe space.
