Jolie micro-maison en forêt

Accommodation description
Country of mountains, rivers and sea, country of nature with grandiose panoramas always renewed, Gaspésie – from the mic mac “Gespeg”: end of the lands – will not leave you indifferent. This region has a special attraction and occupies a special place in the hearts of Quebecers themselves. This territory alone includes more than two thirds of the peaks of Quebec over 1000 meters. Its 21,000 km² (two thirds of Belgium) are populated by less than 90,000 inhabitants and are 94% occupied by a very diversified forest. Balsam fir is the dominant species. Stands of conifers mainly occupy the center of the peninsula, while on the coastal fringe, there is a mixed forest (fir stand with yellow birch) and deciduous trees (sugar stand with yellow birch). The alpine level is occupied by shrub tundra and, on the highest peaks, by herbaceous tundra. About thirty mammals of all sizes meet in these magnificent forests, including the Black Bear, Moose, White-tailed Deer, Lynx, Coyote and even, if you are lucky, the Cougar. The Woodland Caribou can be seen on the peaks.
