Accommodation description
About this place Enjoy a farm stay on our working farm. We have horse stud with cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, and dogs here. If you'd like to interact with our farm animals, please let us know. We are located about 30mins to the Lakes Entrance beach where you can do surfing and 20 mins away to get to a food destination. You can also take a cruise or walk along the jetty. We are located very close to the Great Alpine Road (about 1km away) which means it's convenient but there will be traffic noise. This is not the place for you if you wish to have a quiet getaway. The space The tiny house offers guests a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchenette complete with air-conditioning and heating. There is a queen sized bed up in the loft and a sofa bed on the ground floor, which can be opened up to a double bed size. It can sleep 2 adults (in the loft) and 1 child (on the sofa bed) comfortably. Our bathroom facilities follow ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin and shower (gas heated for hot showers). In Australia's severe climatic challenge of bush fires and drought, we help to save the environment by conserving water using an eco-friendly toilet. The toilet uses biological aerobic decomposition process, which should be odourless. It is waterless and there's no need to flush. A fan helps to provide aeration and aids in the aerobic decomposition process. Important. Please read notes in "Other things to note" before you book your stay. Guest access Guests will have access to the tiny house and within the paddock. Other things to note – No smoking in the tiny house – Good reception for Telstra – This is a working farm – We are located in a bushfire affected site. You may see some remnants in the surroundings – Tiny house is 1km away from the Great Alpine Road and there will potentially be traffic noise
