      Secret tip
Nestled in the hollow of the Luech river, the campsite is located on the outskirts of the village of Peyremale, which has retained all the character of a picturesque, typically Cévennes promontory. In this place of nature you will find remains of the old watermill which now hosts the reception. The landscape is marked by the rich historical past of the Cévennes with its agricultural terraces.

The village of Peyremale has managed to preserve the richness of its heritage. It houses a Romanesque church dating from the 12th century which overlooks the Cèze river from the top of its rocky peak. The town is atypical, because it hosts several hamlets and many isolated farmhouses, which can be explored, thanks to the various hiking trails.

The proximity of Mont Lozère, in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, guarantees you unspoiled nature, for rejuvenating holidays, under the southern sun.

10 minutes from atypical glamping, it is possible to admire the beauty of Lake Sénéchas, between Gard and Ardèche, appreciated for walking and fishing as well as in the Luech and Cèze rivers, which meet a few meters away of the campsite in the Cévennes. From the bivouac, you can take one of the two hiking trails, which will offer you a magnificent panorama of this nature protected by the Gard department.
