Cozy cabin located in the hills offering outstanding nature.
Pets are NOT allowed.
Indoors, you will find a bed (140x200 cm) with soft duvets and pillows, all prepared for your arrival with fresh linens and towels.
In the cabin, you will find a well-equipped kitchenette featuring a refrigerator, a mini oven, an electric kettle, and two hot plates. Start your day with a cup of free coffee or tea.
The cabin is heated with an air-to-air pump, providing good and comfortable warmth.
Just outside, extending from the terrace, there is a small bathroom with a toilet and shower.
Although the cabin is located by the driveway, we are working on building a natural fence to create a more private and inviting atmosphere around the cabin. The cabin has its own forest garden with a fire pit and hammock.
Note: there are several accommodation options which creates some traffic to and from Holmely.
Nature lovers will appreciate the easy access to the beautiful nature here – a short walk leads you to a small valley filled with streams, lakes, and lush forests. Additionally, it is only 3.5 km to the nearest swimming lake, perfect for a refreshing dip on a warm summer day.
Guided tours:
We arrange guided tours such as Gin walks and Guided E-bike tours that are based in nature but also have a fresh touch of Danish history and cultural heritage. Write if you want more info about these tours.

Here in the hilly Søhøjland, where the eye can stretch and silence descends over the landscape, I have created a place that unites everything I love: nature, presence, outdoor life, history, and communities. I grew up in nature and moved freely in it from a very young age, so I learned early to read the landscape, recognize the changing of the seasons, and understand that nature provides peace, freedom, and depth. That feeling has followed me throughout my life and became the seed for Holmely. A longing to create something that could invite others out into the same peace and simplicity that I have found strength in. I have always had a strong creative urge. Where others saw an old barn, I saw a gathering place. Where others saw a piece of wild land, I saw a gift for insects, birds, and animals. I have renovated, rebuilt, planted, moved, lifted, repaired, and dreamed my way to the Holmely you meet today.

Lovely little cabin 'completely alone in the forest' - a bit primitive but no more than expected
