Hesselgaard Glamping is the luxurious outdoor life, where you can enjoy the great outdoors while adding a touch of luxury.
We have ensured that our 3 tents are beautifully decorated with cozy furniture, lights, and beds. The beds are made with luxurious muslin bedding, which gives a fantastic warm feeling from the first moment you crawl under the duvet. At the same time, there are lovely cozy lights primarily from solar-powered chains and battery lights that can also be turned on.
Tents are not quite enough, even if you are the cool outdoor person, so here comes a little extra luxury. There are indeed established lovely outdoor showers with hot water using a gas heater. At the same time, it comes with a beautiful view over the fields for the tallest. Right next to the bath, we also have our toilet in a cozy shed. The bath and toilet are shared with the other 2 tent residents on the property.
Now the most basic needs are covered, but without food and drink, the hero cannot thrive. So there is access to a communal refrigerator and freezer, as well as a kitchenette with a little toaster, kettle, etc. There is also a bit of space to sit and eat, provided the weather is not optimal. There will be a grill available at the tent, where we provide charcoal or gas; there is also a fire pit by each tent with free firewood.
Besides the lovely tents, everything happens in delightful and peaceful surroundings, where there is plenty of space, a view of the small plantation, the little pond, or over the fields. The property has 3 cats that sneak around and love to be petted, as well as a varying number of outdoor rabbits in their own larger cage, where you can go in to see them. There are also a couple of larger calm horses that also enjoy some affection. And last but not least, there is a really affectionate and talkative dog that loves to stop by, making it an ideal place for families with children who love animals. It is, of course, expected that everyone treats the property's animals well.
But that’s not all. Just within a 10-15 minute walk, there is both a forest and a lovely bathing beach, which is also very child-friendly, as it often has sandbanks where you can dig and build sandcastles.
The area in general offers many other great things, such as wonderful walks, small cozy restaurants and cafes, lots of delicious local specialties, and the nearest larger town Kerteminde also has a lot of things worth seeing, as well as Funen's best waffle ice cream from Vaffelhuset.

We live in a scenic area that we thought others should also enjoy experiencing, so we have set up Glamping at home on our property. I am a banker and real estate agent by training, and now work independently as a “Glamping Mutter”, and with a little real estate agent work and political work too. My husband and children also help with our Glamping as needed☀️

Super nice place. Good facilities. Close to great nature and city life, if you're into that. Sweet host!

Super cozy glamping spot. Lovely quiet location in a beautiful area with half-timbered houses with thatched roofs and a good distance to the beach. We traveled with two children aged two and five, who loved the tent, the area, and the sweet animals. Bibbi was a super host - attentive, thoughtful, and welcoming. She helped the children with the animals and got ice cream when our youngest pinched his finger in the car door. We will come back! Strong recommendation.
